Eakring Parish Council Serving the people of Eakring

Who we are & what we do

Eakring Parish Council consists of 7 elected members who serve for a four-year term, the next scheduled Election being May 2027. We currently have 2 vacancies and if you wish to join the team then please contact the Clerk for more details.

We hold our meetings the second Wednesday of each month (except August) at 7.30pm and members of the public are actively encouraged to attend. Meetings are at the Cator Hall, Kirklington Road.

Eakring Parish Council maintains the area around Mompesson's Cross, there is a community Orchard run by volunteers and various green spaces. There is a MUGA and play equipment oat the end of Triumph Road which is also the access point to a footpath to the Robin Hood Way for you to enjoy.

The Parish Council own the Cator Hall which is available for parties and general hire. For bookings contact CatorHall1@gmail.com and Beth will be happy to assist you.

Our Staff

The Council has a number of policies that are contained within the DMS system.

Standing Orders, Financial Regulations and the Risk Assessment will be reviewed at each Parish Meeting.

All other policies will be reviewed after an election (2027) or earlier if legislation changes need to be implimented.
